    Early 1957 RK?

    Hi!
Is this cross a early 1957 RK?

I beleive the early 57's had different oakleaf design like the one in this thread. The stalk on the one you show is thicker. I'm not an expert though

It's not an early one, but looks like an 80s S&L edition. Here is what an early one looks like Notice the difference in the oaks.

        Hello Lasse,

Henri is right , it,s not an early cross but it is still a well made later cross better than those yucky shiny ones with the bad paint

          Hi!
Yes, that was what I thought about to
Big thanks for the help, when looking for a early cross, is it the oakleaves that you should look at? Or are there more things?

Exactly. The oaks say it all. Basically the acorns have to be lower down as shown in the picture I posted. The quality of these RK is similar to the wartime issues. The one you showed is a nice one, but not worth the 200 euros starting price on ebay!!

            Happy hunting

I had posted this before, but for the sake of those who missed it, below is a picture showing from left to right an early type, an eighties type and a late issue. lately one could also find a number of one piece RK being sold.
