ek vs rk

i was pondering this today and thought maybe you guys could help.

Now the rk was awarded for bravery and for great actions against the enimes including sinking alot of stuff like for the navy. now was the ek1 the same but to a tad lesser degree?

I would say Yes, as you should have both the EK I and II, before you were able to get the RK.

So there for I think that they used the same measurement for all the grades of the Iron Cross, you just have do so much more to get the RK.
