          John, I would encourage you to search the crosses forum as this topic (SL RKs)has been discussed in painstaking forensic detail...that way you can decide for yourself what you have

                      Hi John,


                      I it true that I can see some minor flaws developing or present at the top of the 3 o'clock arm? Could you also please post a picture of the knee bwteen the 9 and 12 o'clock arm, as close as possible?

                        Although it may have come directly from Gersdorff's estate, it seems one has to bear in mind the possibility that any cross could have been aquired post-war by the RKt, depending what happened the original worn piece on surrender etc. I beleive Gersdorff lived until 1980.

                        Looks like a good cross, from the pics, but there are more knowledgeable here than me
