    Hello schönbeck,

would say it looks like a Souval cross.

I'm always wary of Souvals, as I hear they cranked them out post '45 by the truckload.
I have a few myself, but always look for TR finishing standards as far as possible: evidence of frosting, general pin attachment 'neatness' and as a final signal, the top left die-flaw 'pip'...
Now this all could be baloney, and just personal voodoo, but that's just me!
      regards
      jon

      btw, here's 2 of mine

I don't see the die flaw on schönbeck's cross and it has a different hinge/pin setup to mine.

        David.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'

please send a photographe of the catch.

I would like to compare it with a Fr. Orth EK, because Souval also has delivered frames and cores to Orth.
