    EK2 Choice

    Hi all.

I would like the opinions of the forum members here. I would like to add a nice mintish EK2 to my collection and have narrowed it down to one of these two. Although the marked EK2s tend to be more desired, the unmarked one appears to be in a bit better condition. Which would you choose?

I know this thread sounds petty, but it's you guys that determine what something is worth down the road ...

            Hi Darrell,

I think this 13 marked EKII looks great . Do you also have pictures of the unmarked EKII.

            Greetings, Thomas

              Hi Darrell,

What's up man??? Well, you know me. It would have to be marked. But that is just personal preference. However, in this case you have an unmarked W&L which are everywhere in good - mint condition. I'd go with the 13. But, what the hell, get 'em both!!

              Me....

Well that is a hardball. But i will go for the 13 markt, both this makers 13 and 100 is found mint in large nr´s. I belive you will get a unmarkt 100 any time, but not a 13.

                  I see the pictures.

I thought that you were offline.

I would go for the EKII marked 13, then you know who the maker is. Makes the cross more interesting.

                  Greetings, Thomas

The 13 is nice enough. I don't care much for the scrunched up beading on the W&L, it's just too much of a flaw to me.

                      No contest....

.....it would have to be the unmarked W&L for me,I'm not to fussed over makers marks!
If you don't want the unmarked one then.......

                        !!!

Both crosses look very nice, however I would have to pick the mm13. I just love the individual makers.

if they are the same money, get the maker marked one...if there is a difference in the price, the your decision will depend on the difference in the price and your budget... Cheers, Torsten.
