this is description of items below

This is a WWI German Blucher,or Hindenburg Star of 1918. A fine example in very good condition with nice patina indicative of the stars age. On the eight pointed brass star is beautifully attached a vaulted 1914 Iron Cross . The reverse has a straight pin in a neatly attached barrel hinge, and a C-clasp cleanly soldered with “no mess”. Definitely a fine jeweler manufactured piece. Included with the full size star is a small lapel pin, with a screw back. No doubt .the lapel pin is as rare as the Star. The star is 3 ½” by 3 ½”, and the screw back lapel pin star is 5/8” by 5/8”..

        it's a.........

............. paperweight. Not even a correctly made "display copy". Funny thing, one of the East Coast Dealer Gods has this very same badge on his website for huge dollars.......... I think Gode, in Berlin, makes these and sells them for very reasonable money, if you wish to collect copies!
