            Dear Jon,

A Shinkel A pattern is very delicate/dainty, similar in construction to a WWI cross. A so called Shinkel B pattern has very straight arms and is quite different than a "regular" Iron Cross.

Gordon Williamsons book has a good picture of one. You might do a search on the forum and find a picture of one.

              yes I was thinking B-type,
I was half joking when I posted it, but it seemed to be one step on it's evolutionary way to a B-type.
Of course we're talking Darwin here
(yes I'm drunk, hey it's friday)
              regards
