opinion asked about KVK 1ste class

Hi All,

I would like to here your opinion about this cross. I think it is ok, but just to make sure. The cross is not marked, but I would say it's a S&L.

On an S&L the pin set up is diferent to those with swords, but I'd say Thomas thats an S&L.


You only put up the obverse, christ I'm not with it today either

One point to not on the S&L without swords KVK, there are 'two' types as such ours where the hinge is soldered onto the award and an integral hinge molded with the frame it appears.


Both come marked and unmarked.

Oh by the way, does yours have a 'little dot' under the hinge a few mm's under the hinge and covered when the catch is closed. It's a very small little raised round 'dot'.

I thought mine was a fake a first a while back because it differed from other's then Gordon Williamson sent me an e mail, saying, 'no you daft sod it's genuine'

Some have a dot some don't, it's no matter, I think it's an S&L, best wait for others to deduce it further though on that....I'm pretty sure it is though.
