    fair enough George!

here's one more pic I wanted to show. It's probably just enough of my fingerprint to land me back in the joint, but, I am just amazed at the details here... Those pre '45 Germans had finer dies than my Ma + Pa!

        Deumer unmarked

        Hello all,

Now, I know this has already been posted, but let me share mine as well as I don't have many items to show off......

Here is my unmarked Deumer. It only has three pins but the ribbon only has three holes.

William, nice spange but I think you have the fourth hole in the ribbon which I have circled.

                mmm

                Hello Don,

Some might say, but when I look at the tear in the ribbon it looks like it is too small for the pin to fit through. Just a thought and I appreciate the reply.

Hi William, I guess you need to ask yourself what would have put a little tear there? It you were to remove the spange from the ribbon all the holes would eventually get smaller as the threads spread back out. That little tear is in the correct spot for the fourth pin.

That is a very good point on how the hole could get smaller over time. Thanks!
