S&L
I was thinking about the situation with the S&L marked crosses.
Is the idea of worrying about weather or not a S&l cross that was produced by the same machinery, and same people getting away from the point of collecting third Reich medals in the first place?
What I guess I am saying is I personally collect these items because of what they represent to me, that is a point in history, a time, My mind runs with ideas of where they may have been.Who's chest they may have been on, they connect me to a time in history of interest to me.
So to throw out a group of items because they may or may not have been in that time is troubling to me, I also understand that complete fake items are something to be aware of.
But I cant bring myself to feel that a 4 marked cross that has all the die characteristics of a known S&L is something to be wary of. Just some random thoughts.
