What sort of EK 2 is this ?

Is the deemed a 'hollow' EK 2, there's a flange of metal bur on the swas, it's light and other than that I've no idea.

I'd assume late war as the packet it came in is one I prescribe to the post late '43 packets and last type's of the paper pkt before they predominatly used cello and wax packets.

Any idea or thoughts on this cross at all ? It's an L/22, Glaser & Son of Dresden on the packet (cross is unmarked), does it match to your examples at all......purely an interest post. I bought this cross for the packet, but it would be nice to combine the two perhaps.

Thank you for taking the time to look,

    Kr

              interesting cross.
The '1'+'9' are also joined in '1939'
while this looks a nice cross, the core is strange. Not the same core; but compare the same fault in a repro of mine...

I will Allan , I was just interested in the cross, I can't remember for the life of me what it is called as such. I wondered if it was a G&S.......it dosen't really matter at all, purely interest and to show her off

Beautiful packet by the way and a couple of other gems too

                  Hi Jon,

I'd say yours dodgy mate, by the looks of that numeral one.....I'd question that certainly.

This cross with what little knowledge I have , I'm more than certain it's ok, I believe theres an example out there thats hollow or the core two part ????

I think this is one ???

I can't remember in all honesty.
