This spange appears to be stamped steel and is well detailed, but not correct in my opinion. While the source was an old lady and could be original, I just didn't like the finish and the fact that the highlights were not finished and bright as they should be. It appears to be worn and maybe that is why, but it doesn't look correct to me.
It is exactly like the one in the other thread, even down to the lines on the edges in the wing to body area. Hmmmm???

I have had the same unmarked spange and I am sure it was fake, because my friend bought the same in Poland with another repros. I have seen the same spanges with MM L/11 and unmarked. But unfortunately not all forum members agree with me.
