How many Schinkel versions (Ek2) there are?

Hi guys i´m new in this great forum. I´ve this Schinkel EK2 it´s made in three pieces and it has a magnetic core.

This pic is compared with a standart 66. marked.
But i think that there are other schinkel version with less curvature in his arms and the angle between his arms is near 90º (i think too that is the non magnetic core).
    How many schinkelforms there are?

    B. Regards

Broadly speaking, I know of three.... With Serif dates, without Serif dates, and the 'B' type..... (you'd better do a search...)

Within these 'sets' however, there are 'subsets' such as magnetic, non magnetic, one-piece, etc..

Then, of course, there are the 1st class schinkels....

I'm sure someone will know exactly....

And here are a couple of the 'B' types.....you'll note the straight arms and round '3'....

'Schinkel 'B' types is a name commonly used here on the forum - coined (I think) by Gordon Williamson when he was moderating here...and referred to as such in his book.... - but most dealers or collectors will not know what you are talking about if you refer to them as such outside these 'walls...'

So between George's (serif & non-serif dates), Ashley's and mine, you pretty much have the full line-up.

A warm welcome to the forum....now go do some homework!

            regards

              Nice!

The cross that shown G. Stimson (left cross) is the one that I asked. Is this cross non magnetic core?

              Best Regards

That EK has a non-magnetic core.
