    Just wanted to add that these are no way from France. Comes from thousands not finished from Czech Republic, city of Jablonec (Gablonz).

    They show an interesting feature, a hole in the back plate. I have recently bought an EK1 that has one too. What gives? Was there a hole for soldering purposes, to allow the hot liquid excess solder to escape inside the cross rather than ooze out along the edges?

      I still don't really know.
