Opinions wanted on RK and Oak Leaves

I would be grateful for opinions on this RK with Oak Leaves. I attach some pics

I assume that the case is incorrect.
    Thanks,

Hmm ... looks like the top ring has been added . Not sure what the marks are on the oaks .

          Thanks Andy and Douglas,
I can see a kind of soldering mark under the ring Douglas, how were they normally attached?
          Thanks,
          Peter

The ring is part of each frame, not soldered on.

Thanks Tony T-S, for pointing that out.
Could this have simply been repaired?
              Thanks,
              Peter

                Hi again Tony and Douglas,
Looking at this genuine cross, it also appears to have the ring soldered on http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru....php?t=1041466

No, the ring is not soldered on. All genuine Knights Crosses have the ring as part of the stamped frame. No exception.

                    Thanks Dietrich,
It is sometimes difficult to see from a photograph whether something is soldered on or not. I’m not sure about this one.
I am posting some more pics , including one that shows the marks on the Oak Leaves more clearly. They are marked L12 and 800.
                    Thanks,
                    Peter

I must say that the marks on the oaks do look a little sloppy.

The dimensions of the cross are 4.8cm horizontally and vertically, with the eye measuring 0.6cm across.
Do these sound OK for a Knight’s Cross?

Meiner Meinung nach halten die Eichen keine Kritik aus.

                              Thanks Bek and AntiqueWW2,
When I put your comment into a translator, Bek, it seems you think that the Oak Leaves are Genuine. Evidently you and AntiqueWW2 are at odds in this respect.
Does anyone else have an opinion. Looking up RK dimensions, this seems about 1.5 mm smaller than some that I have seen.
Lakeside Trader has an RK that measures 49.22mm
                              Thanks,
                              Peter
