Beautiful cross regardless. Are the case and ribbon wartime, or also post war?

The case in my opinion is post-war but very early matches the cross. It is cotton in the lid not foam as it is in the slightly later models but it glows in black light, otherwise see the pictures.

The ribbon has 23 stitches in the white field and it is burning but glows in black light.

The swastika on the cross has wear, along with the ribbon also showing signs of having been on the cross so someone must have purchased it in the early 50's and actually wore it prior to the de-nazified awards coming out in 57.
May have been worn to private meetings with other KC winners and with former comrades etc?

A superb looking cross, but none the less a post war item according to the research that's been done.
