1st class case sizes

Hi all,

I bought a iron cross 1st class case on its own and it’s smaller than other I have. Is it a good one? If so what maker would it go with? I’ve put a normal size case I have on the left.

Hi, I like them both, no problems with these.
Nice cases!

Simple trick is to place the boxes under black light.
With most, if not all repro boxes, the cardboard border between the box and the inlay will shine like the door handle of a brothel.
also the inlay will light up under UV with repro boxes.

Many times the inlays are loose and you can peek underneeth it.
Collar and markings in the cardboard do tell a lot.

Hmmm, not so obvious for me clearly, but I stand corrected.

But do try if the inlays come loose and post the inside.

I can't comment on the cases being original (not sure), but I'd also like to see better pix of that EK1. It appears to be 1 piece from the photo provided, which would probably/likely make it fake also.

And if that's so, somebody's going to get burned for the 275 pounds sterling the tag displays...
