An unmarked EK1, is it from BH Mayer ?

Dear Members,


I continue to investigate in my modest collection in order to identify my EK1 using the book from Dietrich Maerz.

I tried to identify the unmarked EK1 below but I must admit I am not sure who is the manufacturer ( could it be a fake ?).

Especially the hinge is located very high on the reverse of the 12 o'clock arm.

Remember, nobody's infallible.

I'd bet $4.38 (my entire stash of cash right now) it isn't a Maybauer. But - I could very well be wrong myself.

Meybauer used 2 tupes of pin (as far as I know) and this is not one of them.

I think Dietrich did a typo in writing his reply, he meant p 174 ( which is S & L) and not 114.
