I know there was a couple threads about these crosses, but there's still no answer(i guess) i mean if there were such crosses? I know L/18 has additional mark 800(one of variants) but is there any kind with single mark 800?

Hi,
Imo at best an unmarked genuine cross with two attempts (90 degrees apart) at an 800 stamp to increase value.
I don't see any patina indications to indicate silver, just normal patina for nickel-silver.

So at best it’s genuine one with later 800 stamped on it, or “hybrid” of two crosses. Anyway like Robert said it’s better to keep my money in the pocket.

I Have an early 57er S & L EKII with the ring stamped 4, their wartime PKZ number, so they obviously used leftover wartime parts, many manufacturers of WWII medals must have had leftover EK parts from Imperial times, rings stamped with mm or silver content, could these be hybrids with imperial rings? just a thought
