Hi guys need advice on this vaulted '39 EK 1 with swaz . Marked L/58 on the disc and 900 stamped on the reverse of the medal . It seems to be one piece . Question is - is this considered to be a post war replacement made by Souval or is this an outright fake with the intention of duping the niave ?

The L58 marked screwdisc is as fake as the cross - totally different font and strengthening rib compared to an original Souval disc.

Thanks for all replies . This one had too many red flags thats why l didnt pursue the purchase of it . Did any of the manufacturers actually turn out Eks with swastika post war ? If so has anyone out there have photos they could share of post war EKs with the swastika ?Comment

Souval did, but they fall into a number of categories. Postwar constructed with wartime parts and clear postwar with a completely new squarer frame.Comment
