just received this from a fellow member on e-stand, first one i have owned .I was wondering if anybody could give me info on the maker (4) and if this is the standard hinge, pin, and catch for this award. any advice given would be much welcomed.

Is there an emblem on the case lid? Can we see it?

there was a stencil in silver on the lid but unfortunately most of it has been scored off, it's a pity but it was reflected in the price.

That is certainly a choice piece!!!
I hope to find one like that too in the future, a very attractive award.

A pity about the lid emblem, yes. And especially since it was the fully detailed depiction of the award instead of the more common silhouette.
