This flawless unissued example recently obtained in Germany from leftover factory inventory retains 100% of the factory finish to the silver frame, reverse frosting with no wear to the black enamel on the Iron Cross center. Wide, flat barrel-hinged pin is maker marked, "26" in relief (B.H. Mayers Kunstprägenstalt, Pforzheim). Black leatherette case is perfect with no wear or age and features a silver facsimile imprint of the Iron Cross on the exterior lid with interior lid covered in padded white silk. Lower fitted portion of case is covered in white velvet showing no wear or age. Both the Cross and the case are in absolutely MINT, unissued condition and the finest example that JRB&M has had for sale. MINT (23049) $695.

All due respect ... it isn't quite "mint" as the description says. You can see some wear and tarnish to the 3 oclock arm (both on the frosting and the silvering)

This is where this one got to eh. I wondering where she wound up, IMHO the most beautiful EK1, a flawless Russian Hoard 26.
For God's sake dont let it corrode!!
