    Knights Cross Ribbon

    Hello,

Please take a look at this ribbon. It shows a lot of wear and usage. White threads count 25. It has blue velvet back. Any thoughts are welcome.

    Thanks!

Judging from the edging of the ribbon it appears to be post war.

Try to take a clear photo of the edge.

The wave edge is not 100% indicative of an original band!

Never said it was but it certain types of edging do indicate post war/ repro ribbons.

Ribbons are difficult to determine, there were ribbons that do not have a perfect border but are still good.

Depends what you mean. Maybe you could post some photos to illustrate what you mean.

Anyway, what's your opinion on this ribbon. So far you haven't given any...

There were tapes that were made before the 1940/41 regulations and did not have 100% this wave edge. I have two bands, both UV negative and both divergent edges.

The band was worn, has 22 white rows.

You are not really proving any point here with showing your ribbon. We are asking about the ribbon at the start of the thread. Your opinion on it?
