Hello colleagues,
I am posting this in Crosses of the Wehrmacht as opposed to the Imperial sub forum because I believe the frame leans more toward Third Reich era production.
Of course, I could be mistaken!
It appears to be nickel silver construction; 43.47mm height, 43.67 width.
Notable is the cross hatching on the inner corners.
I have a WW I era cross with an identical core;
It has a different silver frame, the ring marked with the letter G, I believe for Godet.
Any help from you sharp eyed and knowledgeable fellows is appreciated.
Thank you,
G.
