    Mark,

At this point I don’t know what to think…my hands are shaking…maybe I’m overreacting, but somehow, IMO this cross holds the key to the secret doors of the Schinkel world…<o =""></o>

that is really a very interesting cross and also prooves that NOTHING is impossible regarding iron crosses.

still i would not call this sign a "präsidialkanzleinummer" but something like a "test stamping".

I think you could probably rule out the mark of Friedrich Keller at least...

Thanks for picture Marshall! You are correct, based on your picture IMO it is not "66"...

@ Stefan, but why to choose numbers “99”? Why not “11” for example?

It's a strange mark, but I don't think that what we see is a "99", nor a number. Anyway, it is definetely quite a find. Nice cross, BTW

I wish I could have a 3d scanner, because “flat” picture doesn’t tell the whole story…

So, the mark is incomplete? When I saw the photos I thought it was not. It could be a 99 then, right?

Correct! It looks like "99". Part of the "mark" somehow goes to the outside of the suspension ring...but still i cannot say that indeed it is "99"...the upper part of the digits is "invisible"...
