It looks like you have a maker's mark on the back. What does it say ??

It reminds me very much of my postwar Souval KvK i with S&L pin and clasp. If it has a maker mark that may change things or be added otherwise.

The hardware looks like it would be at home on a 57er so for this this is post-WW2.
