Here's another one of my favourites, has a bit of character, especially the ribbon.

I think you could say taking into account the ribbon the RK has seen some action!!

There appears to be the imprint of a DK on the inside of the case.

I’m not an RK collector due to lack of $s, but I have seldom seen a nicer example of a cross that shows real evidence of being in the ‘field’ where it was surely earned. Wonderful piece of history! My goodness, what a nice cross!

If the Cross and case were originally together the owner may have stored his award DK in the case while perhaps wearing a cloth one. Seems to have been there a long time. The cross has left little trace. These are wonderful crosses Allan, thanks again for sharing.
