I'd say a tad faded Jim and perhaps by the looks it's got a 'fluid stain' on it, you can see were the fluid has crept by the colour difference and contour where it died a death to a point on the packet, it's also got the old water ruffle in the paper too.

It's of no consequence really as it's still a fine looking packet for a collection !

I also have the K&Q EKII that came with the packet. Yes, there is a deffinate stain on the package that covers the top portion.
