yeah you're right. If I could make it unhappend, I would do it, but the thing is gone, I fear.

But on the other side, I think, this is the dark side of knowledge and collecting files and pics from proven originals. Up to that time I hadn't seen a cardbox with the single inscription 'Nahkampfspange' and thought it could be a fake. As I mentioned befor also in every good book about medals are only cardboxes with the plural lettering. This is the reason I have been doubtful. Now I know, but good thinks come twice (hopefully)

Another of these turned up empty on eBay germany and went very reasonable. Identical to the examples shown and again, IMO, quite real!

I don´t want to say it is a not original box, but why I see them right now so often? I was a view weeks ago in germany and was close to buy such a box from one dealer but I wasn´t sure about the plural "N" and the letter style and so I didn´t bought it.
Why Nahkampfspangen ? I am german but don´t understand the plural in this case. Now they show up so often there and there esp. in Europe, for one year ago or longer time ago never saw one of them.
