      Hi Jim,

      The box looks like the generic LDO box, you usually find the black wound badge in it.

      I'm sure that Marcus will have a bit n more to say.

      Personally, I would expect to find the spange in a 'matchbox' type case, or smaller square case.

            Hi, the Wiederholungsspange looks like there are no maker marks..? Should these always be without maker mark or should there be a maker mark? Or are there no rules for this item? Cheers, Torsten.

              It's not very common for the 2nd Class Spanges to be maker marked, although some are.

                      I like both boxes for the 2nd Class Spange.

                        I have never seen that style used for Spangen in person. My standard and the prinzen came in LDO matchbox style. Not that it means anything.

                              Helmut Weitze has what I believe that are same style of boxes on sale.
                              He says that they are for the spange 2nd class.
