    Small case

    Hi all!
Does anyone know what this small case would have held? It is mid green in colour with burgundy inset. About 53x50 mm in size.

    Hi Rich,

I assume you believe this case may have contained something from the TR or NSDAP era, though I don't see anything that would indicate that in the two pix you provided. What about this piece focuses your sense that this case might have contained a TR or NSDAP artifact?

As I see it now, this case does not look familiar to me...

I have seen similar matchbox type 'box's' (with and without the LDO stamp containing wound badges, spangen, GAB, Rich, all of these type of badge should just about fit in the box, right?

I think Marcus coined the phrase 'generic' type box's, retailers used them to package any award, badge that would fit.

I don't think it would be big enough for a GAB. Certainly a ek2 spangle will fit as I put one of mine in there. I just don't know if it is generic or specific to the award I mentioned.
