Case for Oak leaves (with ribbon).

Here's the case which originally held a set of 21/900 oak leaves.

The oaks are long gone but the buyer never wanted the case!

I really like the imprint of the oaks on the top of the case and on the base.

The ribbon is full length and fits snugly inside the case.

A rare and wonderful artifact! I wonder why the maker of this case didn't add the seal across the exterior of the hinge...or perhaps it's gotten separated over the decades?
