Knights Cross case WW2 S&L or not

[90th Light]

This Knights Cross case was part of an amazing grouping picked up in 1945.

Could anyone please tell me if this is the type of case used for an S&L Type A or an S&L Type B Knights Cross ?

Also what would be a fair price to give them allowing for the missing top section ?

Any help or advice would be appreciated,

I am interested in what others think of this KC case.

May be I should have started by asking the basic question, is it WW2 pre-May 1945 type ?

Any opinions or experience would be a help.

Have not had a lot of feedback about this case because it seems to be causing a bit of confusion. Although there is a possibility of it being late war, those who have corresponded with me so far, feel certain features most likely point towards it being an early 57 post war case.

Today I studied up on some of these features but became confused with the push-button. Seemingly this is a type of push button found on early 57 cases.

However when I compared it with my wartime K&Q case, I found the exact same push-button. Would this be correct ? K&Q also used this type on their cases during the war ?

Again any advise or experience would be appreciated. I will let the photos show what I mean,
