    Juncker RK outer carton

    Hi Guys

I was wondering what the current thoughts were on this style of RK outer carton, I have had it a number of years and I believe Marcus Hatton owns an identical one which has been posted previously. Weitze currently has one he describes as a 1st pattern carton.

    What do you think?

    Many thanks

    Patrick

I never liked the end flap versions of this box, but I am open to other opinions.

I'm lucky to have outer cartons for a Juncker, S&L and K&Q RK.

All three cartons are the two piece construction type, some collectors refer to this type as the 'cigar' box carton.

I can't recall seeing in any publication relating to the RK the 'flap' type carton.

I have only seen the flap type carton on dealers websites.

It's a difficult one, but my gut instinct is that the flap type carton is 'questionable' and considering the price that outer cartons command I would personally only invest in a two piece carton.

This is a perfect example of a rare carton box for Juncker.

I touched it, smelt it, looked at it. Its perfect!

Just like the ordinary Juncker EK1 cartons.
