    Has anyone every seen a blue etui quite like this one? Sorry it's the only photo available but hoping that the texture of the top with linear scored border and what appears to be a rectangular push button might ring some bells?

    Hi Norm,

    Very hard to say from just the cover (no idea of case depth or interior finish & set up) , but to me it looks like it could be a flight badge case. They come in a variety of textures colours & finishes depending on period, case supplier etc. and while most are marked as to contents (Flugzeugfuhrer, Beobachter etc) some are blank

      Spanish Cross in silver case. At least it looks like one with the texture and rectangular push button.
