Help needed to assess EL case & ribbon

All, received this set for consignment. The award case and ribbon have been questioned as being potentially of postwar manufacture. Included are a few photos. Are these adequate to make a call? If not, I am happy to make more. Thanks in advance to all knowledgable commenters.
