    Blue case for IDing

    Hi gents,
may be someone has any idea about what this case for? UV negative, sizes are 8.5 x 6.8 x 2.0 cm. I am not sure , if it's even German or WWII period.
Any opinions are welcome and will be greatly appreciated.
    Andrei

Sorry this could be for anything.

Not a case I am familiar with as regards TR awards.

I'd love to be able to say I think it is a private purchase case for a screw-back Luft award, but alas I think not, Andrei.

I can't put my finger on it at this very moment in time, but I think I do recognise this outer-covering pattern. And, for some reason I keep thinking I've seen it on an East German award of sorts, perhaps! The chances are it could be from Belgium, I just don't actually know???

Sorry, I can't help you at the moment, but it might be an idea to post a link in the DDR forum and even the '57 remit, too.

              All the best,

              Marcus
