    1914 EK1 cardboard box

Today I received a small lot of items from WW1/WW2, and this box was within it.
It's coming from the family, with one Imperial Austrian award, few letters and this box.
Blacklight shows no glow at all, not on the box itself nor on the 3R eagle and paper glued inside the lid.

1914 EK1 on the lid top is very nice, protruded from the lid flat body.

I newer saw something similar, but that's not strange as WW1 EK2 are not my field of expertise, so i would like others, more knowledgeable to comment.

    Thanks in advance!

And here is my original engraved EK1 inside it.
        It fits perfectly.

Box i think is ok. The Eagle inside is added later

Of course, I know it's added later but it's also period pre- or WW2 as it doesn't glow at all.

This one is a keeper, it's not my area of collecting, but these are pretty rare I think.

If I will have opportunity to trade it for something (some people are already asking), what would be a fair collector-to-collector price of it?

              Thanks in advance!

with added later I mean postwar. What would be the point to put an eagle under the lid?

Price with our w/o the cross? W/0 I think around 70-100 euros top.

As it came with some WW2 items, and the eagle paper isn't glowing under blacklight I really believe someone added it to the box after 1933
                  but before 1945.
Who knows why? It was national symbol back than so it's possible that someone just glued it there. We'll never know, unfortunately.

I haven't tried to remove it, but at first sight its glued, not just put there.

Also, there was another piece of paper with the seal inside the box body, which was easy to remove.

The last one is cut from a school paper. You Can google it. Has Nothing to do With the cross.

Of course, someone pout both papers inside during 3R period, and one is just put inside while the other is glued, unfortunately.

All paper doesn't glow under uv light. It's not a safe method to use.
