Nothing out of the ordinary, but a friend of mine gave me this packeted War Merit Medal today for helping him authenticate and value a small collection of medals, stickpins, tinnies, and cloth insignia. Just being able to look at the stuff was payment enough for me, but he wanted to give me something in appreciation. A really nice payment for an hour of fun. I'll take payment in medals any day.
