    A Box for an IAB?

    Gentlemen,

    I know this box has been ID'ed before ...

    Was this box for a GWL Infantry Assault Badge? Or is my memory not serving me well?

        Looks like a good generic box which could have hold an IAB, GAB, PAB or even a wound badge ...

          You have provided the answer. I remember a thread on these boxes and IABs from several years ago. One of our members had a hoard of BSW IABs in these "cloud" boxes. Wrapped in tissue and the whole bit. Beautiful.

          Though I am sure these boxes may have been used for badges other than BSW, I am more comfortable knowing where they were used for sure. Now we have it.

          Thanks -- this box will be on sale at SOS, by the way. I am bringing almost my entire collection to sell and includes hundreds of items.

            I use to have 3 IAB's in these boxes, I've never seen anything else in these particular ones.

                    I'd agree with this based on my observations, all 3 of my IAB's were BSW's.
