My first collect in new year

I just get this case yesterday . It is my first intact early LDO EK2 case . I have get two early LDO EK2 cases several years ago . But one is Scratched on its surface , and the other's lid is separated from the case . I wish you like this one too .

obvious observation question on box.

Noticing the writing on the back ,which by the way ,you have not shown close up and straight on, says something(blacked out deliberately)then 1st deutchen mutter, then is overstamped with iron cross class 2,and a name with a G, so whats up with that? How can they make a mistake on a IC II case , calling it a 1st class mothers cross. How bout a straight on shot and close up so we can see what it says closer? Many of these type cases are highly reproduced especially with LDO embossed fronts. Anybody have any ideas / comments why the double rubber stamp markings ? Oh yeah happy new year too.

Seems to me it was first stamped "Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter _ Stufe" which is wrong for this type of box, then overstamped "Eisernes Kreuz II Klasse", which is right.
