    Opinions on this box

    Hi all,
I would like to get your feedback on this EK1 outer box. Is this WW1 or WW2? As far as I know, these are the only markings on the box. Any ideas as to the maker of the box or EK 1 medal maker? I appreciate any info. Thanks. Rob

      Hi.
Carton to cross the I WW.
I have often seen EK I 1914 signed "KO".

      Greetings.

Thanks for your feedback guys. Were these generic boxes used by the different medal makers or did the makers have their own outer boxes marked like they did in WW2? Thanks in advance. Rob

            Hi.

IMO the outer box from EK 1914 is consistent Between multiple makers.
Often seen in the popular EK I 1914 "KO", but also with products: Godet, Wagner, C.Dillenius,
Probably contracted with one type. Common was the inscription - "To be opened only by Recipient" and they had the round sticker at the bottom represents the Royal Commission General Orders. (KGL.PRUESSGENERALORDENSKM).
Sometimes only you can see the differences in the type of paper in the box.

            Greetings.

                Hi,
this is a classic outer box for EKI WWI, completly in very good conditions. You can find with mm or , often, without mm.
