Case

I would post this in the case/package forum. Can you remove the center? If so there is a number on the insert and bottom of the case. If these numbers are different (as I think) then this case was made. The case is for an iron cross, not a spange. A spange case has the number 621 on both parts. Jim

I think the upper interior part of the case has come from another type of case, maybe a case for a table medal or something, to replace the same that was probably missing from this EK1 case.

Perhaps the lower section has been replaced too.

They fit each other perfect.
It is not possible to remove the inlet or the upper inlet of the case. I think allso that the case is thicker then a standard Iron Cross case. It is possible that I'm not right, these are my impressions.
