    Three nice EK2 sets

I'd like to show three nice sets.

    1) On Allan's request is this Assmann set. This did not come as a set, but I believe they go together. HERE is an explanation of why I believe the EK2 is by Assmann.

Two more of the Assmann. These photos did not turn out that well.

      2) Juncker. Both cross and Packet are unmarked, but the cross is without a doubt an early non-magnetic Juncker. I think the Packet is the type Juncker used. These two came to me as a set.

Actually, under the flap of the packet is the mark: "345"

          3) Finally, a beautiful Gebrüder Godet set. The cross is marked "21" and the tissue still has the imprint of the cross in it very clearly.

The back. The "21" mark is not too visible in this photo, but is crisp.

The tissue. This may not be visible in the photos either, but even the shape of the swastika and the jump ring can be seen in the tissue (which is actually quite coarse).

Great sets Trevor! I especially like the Godet one, have not seen this type of packet marked for this maker before, it fits perfectly to the line of similar packets from other Berlin companies.

Terrific sets, Trevor, particularly the Gebrüder Godet set! I suppose these are hard to come by, aren't they.

You know that I'm a huge Imperial Godet fan - thanks to you in no small part. Well, I think it's time for me to start looking for 1939 Gebrüder Godet EKs! See what you've done to me again?

                      Best,

                      Alex

Oh lord... I better stop letting my enthusiasm show so much! I help generate my own competition for specific makers I'll keep my eyes open for a good Godet for you. The Packet will be much harder.

Thanks, Trevor! But that's what you get for turning me into a Godet addict!
