    spange case

    Hi there, I have this case, it contained an ek2 for years. The inside does not want to come out, don't want to force it. Is it any good? Thanks in advance

      From the photographs the outside could be ok, but the inside looks like it has been replaced.

        Thanks for the reply Allan. Is there any photos I can do or ways to help determine its originality?

          Best way would be to try and get the base out.

          See the gaps between the side of the case and the base? Looks like a new base has been added.

          Don't force it, but the fact that its hard to pull out could suggest its been glued firmly in.

          The inside of the top of the case should be white satin/silk material.

          Try and take a side on photo, and another of the top without to much sunlight.

            Thank you. Ok, the inside is not coming out without damaging it. The lid material does come away on one corner....no evidence of other material behind it. I have taken further pictures.....

                  For me, I have never seen a dark interior of the lid. Imo defenatly been messed with.

                    Thank you. So the actual case is genuine, but the inside is replaced? It does make sense when I look at it.
