    hindenburg ros in case

    I saw this Hindenburg cross cased,but i never saw a cas like that before i would like to know if this is an ok case for a hindenburg cross.Thanks for looking

      Think i'm correct in saying that there are many diffrent varients of case's for these awards, I like what i see.

        Used to own one like that myself!!
        Rarer and i think nicer than the standard case!!!

          Hello Papaco and thanks for posting your photo of the Honour Cross case.

          I have five different Cases for the Honour Cross but have never seen this one before.
          It is unusual but it looks like a period piece — you are lucky to have it.

          If that is the medal which came with the Case it may be of interest in that the ribbon style is the typical Saxon style, which is relatively scarce, so perhaps the Case also is of Saxon origin.

          The are over 220 different manufacturers of Honour Crosses so perhaps there are Cases out there which do not come to light very often at all. Of course on normal Cases only the facsimile signature of von Hindenburg appears under the slogan "Treue un Treue".

                Beautifull case thanks for sharing.This was the first time i saw a case like this and i like them better the the red ones
