RK case

Hi Guys

was hoping to get some opinions on this one, I am hoping it is good. The lid is same thickness as the base which I think means it isn't a 57? The hinge has some partial cut segments is that still ok for a pre 45 case?

early '57 IMO, I have 2 identical to it. The lid padding under the lining feels more like sponge than fiber filled, white border in base section not as neatly fitted as '39 examples, and plain cardboard rather than covered with a woven fabric.

I would agree ... early 57er RK case ... have several similar ones @ home ...
