FLAK case, what about the inlet?

Got this FLAK case today and although the outside looked promissing the inlet is not!
I removed the inlet to look for stamped numbers and this is what I found, An IMO renewed inlet the cardboard is why off any original I know of and the stamped numbers are missing.
If any of you think different please tell me because then I missed some info allong the way.
The dealer told me the inlet is original after confronting him.

The base is fine and typical for the cardboard cases of this very type.

Yes, the gauge of the cardboard is slightly thicker - just - but that's of no concern to me at all. I would not suggest this has been replaced, not at all in fact. The paper base covering application is just fine and correct, and I can just make out that it is finished as should be on such a base for this very case. Even the cut of the corners is I would like to see. The recess is exactly how it should be also; it all looks good to me!

As with all the cardboard bases of this type they are devoid of base codes, which is perfectly normal to encounter.

Apart from the paper/material hinge being damaged it's a nce example of this type of case.

              Hi Mate,

They're all the same on this version - ''cardboard'' as opposed to hard-shell - minor variations in the gauge of cardboard's or the internals to any lesser degree within reason (for purposes of deduction of good and bad....etc) is acceptable.

I have absolutely no doubt with yours, Rene!

What is nice about yours is the base covering still retains a good amount of its colour, rather than a pale faded colour as is most often seen.
