    Bordmechanikerabz. case

Got this Bordmechanikerabz. etui with an early Juncker Radio Operator badge marked "CEJ" in a box. Badge is J1 style in nickle silver with cut-out wreath for the wings...VERY EARLY badge.

Got the badge in this case and am wondering if this would have been the original issue case. Notice that the catch for the case is missing.

Also wondering how rare the case is. Haven't seen many marked Bordmechanikerabz.

      Hi Lorenzo,

I doubt very much that an early CEJ badge would have been in this case. Just the fact that the inlet has Spruhfilz on it would be enough to make me think this is from much later.
These cases are quiet hard to find, I think over the years I´ve only seen a couple of them.
