That they are indeed, Rene my friend!! And I've a few makers that aren't on the PK list, also.

However, I'm not sure I've familiar with this ''Markosky'' maker...???

Basti, you're the man for this.......I'll try and call you tonight mate, or if not next week again - I have some info on some Austrian makers for you

Of course you can, mate. Please do.

Packets and the makers on them have been - as you are more than aware - instrumental in more than one avenue of the hobby. So, feel at liberty to post anything regarding any makers.

ok so here we go. Sorry for the short version. But it is not easy for me to translate.

The history of the family Markovsky begins with Chritian Markovsky during the 19th century. Christian was a cloth producer and hast nothing to do with metal. His son Anton was it who recognised that the making of cloth has no future and changing to metall. But he died with 56. So it was on the sons to continue the work. The oldest son Rudolf overtake the business dealings and the younger son Emil must go to school. Rudolf change the name of the company into "Anton Markowsky's Sohn" than in 1919 Emil became a partner of the company. Now they make a new sector with the producing of aluminium products and they changed the name into "Markovsky & Comp." all in all over 200 people work for them. During the war the produce awards and a lot of equipment for the Wehrmacht.

would it not be possible for any award that this firm manufactured to be awarded in a plain packet.
